For candidates seeking admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, BHMS and other undergraduate (UG) medical programs, NTA conducts the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test every year. After successfully completing the NEET PG examination and the result declaration, the National Testing Agency (NTA) made the NEET UG application forms available on its official website.

NEET exam contains four subjects Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology which need to be prepared thoroughly. What is NEET UG 2023 application form date?

The National Testing Agency (NTA) commenced the NEET UG online registrations on March 6, 2023, which will last till April 6, 2023. The NEET UG exam is conducted in offline mode i.e. pen and paper mode and will be conducted on May 7, 2023 by the NTA itself. The deadline to fill out the application form is very close now. So, If you have not completed the registration process yet then you can still do it. 

Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates who aspire to become medical practitioners through NEET UG are required to be eligible for the same. The eligibility criterion states that:

• A candidate must have completed at least 17 years of age at the time of admission as on 31 December 2023.
• A candidate must have completed the 10+2 (12th) with main subjects as Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English from an accredited board.
• Steps for NEET UG Application

There are a few necessary steps to follow in the process of NEET application which are as follows:

Step 1: Registration on https://neet.nta.nic.in/ 

Step 2: Filling the application form

Step 3: Uploading documents and images

Step 4: Application form fee payment 

Step 5: Final printing of confirmation page 

Documents required for NEET UG registration

• Valid contact details such as Contact no. & mail ID
• Class 10th academic details (marksheet)
• Class 12th academic details (marksheet)
• Aadhar Card details
• Passport-sized and postcard-sized photograph 
• Application Form Fee (category-wise)

• General category – Rs.1700
• General EWS/OBC NCL category – Rs.1600
• SC/ST/PwD/another gender category – Rs.1000

Admit cards will be released a few days before the exam date and you will all have to download and carry hard copies along with you. For more detailed information, you can check the information bulletin on the official website https://neet.nta.nic.in/.
