Overview of NEET Maharashtra Counselling 2023

The NEET PG test serves as a common entrance exam for Postgraduate programmes including MD/MS and PG Diploma Programmes. For admission to the MD, MS, or PG Diploma programmes, no other entrance exams conducted at the state or institutional level shall be allowed. Two rounds in addition to a mop-up round make up NEET Maharashtra Counselling 2023.


Participants in the counselling procedure who appeared on the Maharashtra NEET PG merit list 2023 will be still eligible. The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Maharashtra releases the round-wise result of NEET PG/MDS counselling 2023 on the official website. Maharashtra Common Entrance Test Cell carries out Maharashtra NEET PG counselling every year. The counselling schedule can be released at any time now. 

Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra PG Counselling 2023


Nationality

  • Applicants must be from India.  

  • Only 15% of the NRI quota seats at unaided private/minority medical institutions are available to Non-Resident Indians (NRIs).

  • Persons of Indian origin (PIO) or overseas citizens of India (OCI) will not be eligible for counselling.

Domicile

  • Candidates must have graduated from a Maharashtra-based medical institute.

  • By March 31, 2023, the candidate's rotatory internship had to have been completed.

  • Candidates with an MBBS from an overseas university will not be eligible.

  • Candidates who were born in Maharashtra and got their MBBS degree from another nation (and were given a seat under the 15% AIQ) would also be eligible to take part in the Maharashtra NEET PG 2023 counselling procedure.

Documents required

  1. Print out of the application form filled 

  2. NEET PG admit card

  3. Photo ID proof (aadhar card/PAN card/driving license/passport)

  4. NEET PG result 2023

  5. Secondary school certificate

  6. MBBS marks sheet of the first, second and third year

  7. Pass certificate of MBBS degree

  8. Certificate of compulsory rotatory internship completion

  9. SMC or MCI registration certificate

  10.  Undertaking of the number of attempts of NEET PG

  11.  Challan copy of Rs.3000

  12.  Caste certificate & PH certificate (if applicable)

  13.  Medical Fitness Certificate
