The NEET PG test serves as a common entrance exam for Postgraduate programmes including MD/MS and PG Diploma Programmes. For admission to the MD, MS, or PG Diploma programmes, no other entrance exams conducted at the state or institutional level shall be allowed. The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Maharashtra releases the round-wise result of NEET PG/MDS counselling 2023 on the official website. Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra PG Counselling 2023
Nationality
Applicants must be from India.
Only 15% of the NRI quota seats at unaided private/minority medical institutions are available to Non-Resident Indians (NRIs).
Persons of Indian origin (PIO) or overseas citizens of India (OCI) will not be eligible for counselling.
Domicile
Candidates must have graduated from a Maharashtra-based medical institute.
By March 31, 2023, the candidate's rotatory internship had to have been completed.
Candidates with an MBBS from an overseas university will not be eligible.
Candidates who were born in Maharashtra and got their MBBS degree from another nation (and were given a seat under the 15% AIQ) would also be eligible to take part in the Maharashtra NEET PG 2023 counselling procedure.
