NEET UG (Undergraduate) exam is conducted to admit students in MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery), BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery), AYUSH(Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy) and BSc nursing courses. This exam is challenging for the NEET aspirants so they have to be very focused on the right preparation practices.

NEET UG 2023 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on May 7, 2023, which is very close now. Candidates seeking to crack the NEET exam with a good score must take the preparation determinedly.

How to prepare for NEET UG syllabus in 1 month?

This informative blog post can help you get through the most important preparation tips for NEET UG 2023 exam. We have brought concise but important tips for the NEET aspirants to crack the exam in the best possible ways.

Making a well-planned study schedule in the last month can help ensure that the right amount of time is allotted for each topic, which is one of the most crucial NEET preparation tips. Here are a few tips for covering the NEET syllabus in the last month:

  • Follow the right study material

The study material for NEET preparation is essential for clearing the test. It would take a long time to cover the NEET exam’s vast syllabus. Going through the most important topics in-depth is the best approach to learn more in a shorter span of time. When you are short on time, try not to cover every subject. Aspirants may benefit from using NCERT books to better comprehend the subjects. You can get high-quality study materials from qualified teachers, including books, videos, previous exam papers, and sample test papers. Additionally, reading the interviews of different NEET rank holders can aid in understanding the preparation strategies and tactics. To improve your accuracy and speed, practise more and more.

  • Follow a rigid schedule

To remain focused during your preparation, stick to a set plan. You can handle your academics with effective time management if you have a well-structured schedule. It takes serious and consistent efforts to pass the exam because it is not that easy. Make a list of the important topics you want to briefly touch on during the days to come. Maintaining a strict schedule while studying and taking care of your health is important. Due to your human nature, you cannot study like a machine. According to experts, the human mind is capable of concentrating for only a certain amount of time. Stress from prolonged preparation can compromise your planning. Your dedication to your studies could possibly be maintained by taking regular breaks.

  • Practise and revision

Studies must include frequent revision. You can understand better all of the material you have learned by revising it repeatedly. Your weak portions will become stronger and stick to your mind after revision. NEET exam includes a lot of emphasis on formulas, derivations and equations. As a result, they should be properly practised frequently. You can maintain accuracy and speed by taking more and more mock tests. The time allotted for each question should be managed during practice in order to complete the paper. To prepare for the NEET exam, candidates should familiarise themselves with the previous paper pattern and difficulty. The major skill needed for the exam is time management.

Points to keep in mind for NEET preparation

  • For NEET preparation in 2023, candidates should concentrate on NCERT books. NCERT books aid applicants in concentrating on specific topics quickly.
  • Throughout the exam, candidates must manage their time for 180 of the 200 questions, thus requiring them to concentrate on answering questions as efficiently as possible.
  • Applicants should begin taking NEET practice tests in 2023 in addition to going through the syllabus because doing so will help them learn how to manage their time and speed.
  • It is necessary to concentrate more on XII standard topics in order to answer questions accurately and confidently.
  • Candidates should not focus on new topics at exam time. Instead of new topics, old topics should be thoroughly given importance.

The Ultimate Guide to Getting Your Dream Branch in NEET 2023

Every NEET 2023 aspirant must be dreaming of getting into a reputed medical institute where they can study their dream branch. NEET aspirants always strive to obtain their dream branch at the best possible medical institution for their future medical careers.

The main states to focus on private colleges are Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh for candidates whose rank is above 20K. Depending on your budget and how much you want to spend on well-known institutes in the above mentioned states, the fees can range anywhere between 20 to 35 lakhs per year. Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) in Bhuvaneswar was quite an affordable institute for medical aspirants but the fee structure has increased now.

According to Expert Counsellor Gaurav Tyagi, Uttar Pradesh (UP) is the most demanding state for medical students due to the lower fees and greater number of colleges and seats in this state. Candidates above 60K rank can try for highly demanding branches in Rajasthan but they must have a high fee budget to afford.

NEET rankers between 40K to 45K can apply in the states such as Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry as well. If your rank falls under 20K, you may be able to find lower budget institutes with fee structures ranging between 8 and 20 lakhs per year. UP, West Bengal and Chattisgarh are open states where candidates can try for dream branches. Middle-rankers can get opportunities in colleges in West Bengal.

No official announcement for NEET PG Counselling 2023 has been made as of now. Therefore, candidates are advised to look for institutes according to their ranking and targeted branches.

NEET PG Counselling 2022 vs 2023: What's the Difference?

According to CareerXpert, there can be a difference in PG counselling this year. The counselling this year may differ slightly from last year in a few ways. Based on the candidates' propensity to obtain seats, there would be a difference between the NEET PG 2022 and NEET PG 2023 counselling sessions. This year, a maximum number of candidates would take admission according to their branch choice and budget. There is less probability that the candidates will take drop their year again.

Candidates who just desire to take MD/MS courses can compromise their specialization choice but not with their course. MD in Medicine is the highest preferred course among NEET PG aspirants nowadays according to analysis. Branch choices keep on changing every two to three years. The maximum number of candidates are only seeking admission in MD in Medicine as compared to the past years. There are higher chances that the seats would be increased this year as per the increasing demands in our country. It is a misconception that the number of seats will decrease in the upcoming session. NEET PG seats and colleges are expected to increase in a few states according to NMC ( National Medical Commission) for MS/MD counselling. The cut-off would be impacted by the number of seats increase in colleges. It is obvious that the rankings in which the allocation was made the previous year cannot be the same for this year. The branch should be selected wisely in your Postgraduate degree so as to get success in life with a particular specialization.

Changes in MS/MD Fees Structure: What You Need to Know

Hello to all NEET PG aspirants!

We are aware that the NEET PG result has been announced more than a month ago but there is no intimation of the NEET PG counselling 2023 schedule till now.

One piece of news regarding the fee structure of private colleges will be discussed in this post today.

According to CareerXpert, there is a high chance that the fee structure of private colleges especially in the states such as Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Bengal, Telangana and Bihar can change according to the regulating authority this year. Last year the fee structures in the institutes of Madhya Pradesh got changed. In Rajasthan, the fee structure varies every year and the fee structures of some institutes have already been changed. The fee structure in the private institutes of Bihar can change drastically. It is not an assurance that the fee structures will remain as they are. The regulating authority would decide soon if the fee structure would change or not.

The fee structures may change in some states only but the admissions will be done only on the basis of NEET counselling. There is not any other way to get into private colleges too. The change in the fee structures may impact you a bit but all the NEET aspirants have to be prepared with the documents and other requirements for the counselling process as the counselling is expected to be commenced in July month. Candidates with category certificates must get their documents renewed as per the recommended format.

In government colleges also, the fee structures have been changed in a few states. It can be assumed that the fee structures of all the institutes whether government or private for MS/MD courses may impact you a bit. The NEET aspirants should be regular visitors of the official website https://mcc.nic.in/ for the NEET PG 2023 counselling updates. If you are unaware of the counselling process then you can take assistance from a Medical counsellor for your counselling journey if required.
